Treatment Styles
Treatment varies from person to person. We offer a variety of focuses for treatment.
Treatment modalities vary depending on client and their needs.
Motivational Interviewing
Focused on what motivates you, this mindset is applied in almost all sessions. Identifying what encourages change is the focus, not what holds you back. The spirit of motivational interviewing is about realistic, positive change.
Solution-focused Therapy
This style of therapy is provided for situations where treatment may be more brief. Adjusting to some new changes in life? Need a problem-solving environment? Solution-focused treatment options may be best suited for you.
Cognitive Processessing Therapy
Cognitive processing therapy is a trauma-focused modality. It explores the impact of stuck points on how a traumatic event is processed and focuses addressing unhelpful thoughts as applied to trauma. This form of treatment usually lasts about 12 weeks. This treatment is specifically targeted for treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
LGBTQ Friendly
Therapy should be a safe space where we can express ourselves freely away from judgment. This is a queer safe space and all are welcomed regardless of where you come from or how you identify.
Paced for You
Discharge is always the goal but it is when you are ready. The goal isn’t to get you out of the door, it’s to get you on your feet, ready to take off.
